Clark County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, authorize release, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the public office that holds the record or controls custody.
Clark County Records Contacts
Clark County publishes separate contacts for jail status, dispatch, and records. Regular county office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call 911 for an emergency, not for a routine records or custody inquiry.
Clark County Sheriff’s Office
517 Court Street, Room 308
Neillsville, WI 54456
Jail Control / Corrections: (715) 743-5380
Non-emergency dispatch: (715) 743-3157 or (800) 743-2420
Records: (715) 743-5355, records@co.clark.wi.us
Records fax: (715) 743-4350
For an incident or booking-record request, use the county’s Records & Services route and identify the person, date range, and record sought. Jail Control addresses current local custody; it does not replace a records request or a court search.
Choose the Right Public Office
Records often move from an arresting agency to a jail and then to a court. These routes identify the office most likely to hold the particular information.
- Current Clark County custody: call Jail Control at (715) 743-5380 because no verified public county roster was located.
- County booking or incident record: contact Sheriff Records using the county’s written-request process.
- Public court case or later disposition: use Wisconsin WCCA or the Clark County Circuit Court, 517 Court Street, Fourth Floor, Neillsville, (715) 743-5183.
- City arrest report: contact the Neillsville, Thorp, or Colby-Abbotsford police department that made the arrest.
- Sentenced Wisconsin custody or community supervision: use the Wisconsin DOC locator, which is separate from Clark County Jail.
- Federal or immigration custody: use the official BOP locator or ICE locator when that custody category applies.
